A Woman Indeed
A Woman Indeed
by: Pree Dammond
When I look back at my baby pictures, I was a kid with a lot of life in my eyes. You could tell that I was just happy and excited to learn and soak things in. There are different people in this world. I'm the kind of person that has a happy spirit. I usually like to be happy, laugh, and crack jokes. When I am not happy, It slows me down. It makes me not want to do anything. It makes me not want to use my talents. Sadness is my Cryptonite. When I am happy, and filled up with love and positive energy, I accomplish so much more. Hence, the films, the music, my paintings, cleanliness, things around the house, and etc.
I even make more money during times I'm happy.
The wrong woman can slow me down. The right woman can encourage me to do great things which make me become a greater being.
The right woman pouring into me can speed me up.
Ask yourself are you the type that speeds him up or slows him down. I know there are things you just don't know and that because of how you were raised you are set in your ways. I'm not perfect either and am not saying I am. Do you even want to speed me up, or are you just focused on making sure your life doesn't crumble.
If I was your man, and you were to lose everything you ever worked for; how would you really be losing, if I was there to catch you? You would have a place to live, a place to eat, a place to wash, and place to laugh. You would enjoy the best sex of your life, the best scent of a man, the best kiss to the forehead. The best I could give. What would you really lose?
I know the answer: You would feel that you have no control and you would panic. As a woman, you are not in tone with your Femininity that God gave you. You are not submissive. If you were, you would have won my heart a long time ago, even before the rest of the Gold diggers, and Fake personalities. You were there first. Most women are always focused on living a certain life style and trying to control their way there. Most people who lived those lives always give God the glory.
The reason I hadn’t manifested in my life at that point, was because I was just like you. I tried to force and control my way to the top. All I every really needed was to be myself and allow God to place people in my life that would take everything that I could offer to new heights. Hence; money, fame, respect, notoriety, and more.
All I am is a God fearing man, created by God to be a real man. Not a Gay Boy, Not a Coward, Not a thief, Not a criminal, Not a scum, Not a male whore. I’m just a real man, who makes mistakes from time to time like God intended me too.
All I am is a man that has given into women via relationships which has now made me vulnerable. Now, that I have this vulnerability, I have to manage it otherwise I will not prosper in life the way GOD favored me to do.
To manage it, God advise to be equally yoked. He said in the bible that it is better to marry than to burn (which saves us from diseases, famine, stress, broken families, and more).
He also said, that it is better to be in the Wilderness alone, than in a huge mansion with a bickering woman (which means solitude is better than the stress that is toxic to your body from arguments and frustration). Arguments can cause a heart attack and death. Women have the ability to kill men from within, Hence a Toxic Rib. Every Woman may not be suited for a God fearing man.
If Christ is something you desire to be in your mate’s life, then I encourage you to make the bible your friend.
I remind you that I need to spend sometime in the Word myself, because I’m never perfect. However, my foundation is and will always be with God no matter what the world tells me. The World is a lie, and people are too. All you can trust is the real voice from God. It actually took me several years to be able to hear him and know it was him....so if you ever have uncertainty don't feel bad...I've been there....We all have uncertainty at times.
And I still say, watch who you think are your friends and who you think got your best interest at heart. When a man is just cool with screwing you on the side, he will never respect you. He'll never grow to trust or love you. Stripping and having Sex for money will never be the answer. All of those things sound like the World's lie. God would never create a woman for that reason.
A Woman Indeed is to be treasured and guided, not abused and ravaged. A Man Indeed is to be admired and respected, not used and taken advantage of by females who think they are women.
I grew up in the country projects so a foolish boy can tell me a thing. The bible talks about fools too.

Teddy Pendergrass falls to Cancer
One of the greatest R&B singers has fallen. Our prayers and appreciation for what he gave the world in terms of music will always be with him. The world is transforming greatly. We have lost Icon after Icon. We are experiencing natural disaster more frequently than ever. I reach out to those that read my blog and encourage you all to live life to the fullest. Live life doing and not just speaking. Be happy and never let a soul steal your happiness. Some people tend to be out touch. Let them be them. Instead of forcing your ideals, your motivations, and your life on other...choose to live by example. Pray that others will be inspired through your being as Teddy Pendergrass has inspired musician after musician. With peace and love, I salute Teddy for his gifts to the world, and thank God for the gifts he gives us all.

The G A M E First Pitch

The
Glaucoma Awareness Month Exposed
Event date: Jan 28th, 2010. Location: TBA City: Metro-Atlanta GA
Glaucoma Awareness Month 2010
The G A M E event TBA
January is Glaucoma Awareness Month. Most of you are probably hearing of this disease for the first time. Glaucoma is the leading cause of preventable blindness in the United States of America and is the leading cause of ALL blindness among African Americans. The statics show that at least half of those with Glaucoma are not aware that they have it. This disease can occur at any age so take precaution.
My mother has been dealing with this eye disease since I can remember. Eye sight is one of our six senses that most of us take for granted. I however, do not. It is a serious condition that is preventable if caught early on.
The chances of developing Glaucoma increase as you approach the age of 40, but there are other risk factors that have nothing to do with age. In short, Glaucoma is a condition where the fluid behind your eye is elevated to an unsafe level. As previously mention, this is a preventable disease.
I wanted to take this time to encourage you to take Regular eye exams to prevent this disease from attaching itself to your life.
We are anticipating the event to take place this month in support of Glaucoma Awareness Month. We are deciding to donate a portion of proceeds to the Glaucoma Awareness Foundation.

Where do you think I need to be

Vivica Fox and Pree Dammond- Gillette Men of Style Atlanta Event
Where do you think I need to be
The favor of God will always place you where you need to be. A man without faith is as incomplete as a Man without a Woman(rib). The pursuit of a dream, is the pursuit of a God's given vision. No matter what your vision is pursue it and create connection along the way.

Twitter discussion on Blackberry outage

Twitter discussion on Blackberry outage
Recently, there is a wave of panic over the 2nd Blackberry outage and all in one week. A few friends have recommended that Blackberry is the phone to have especially for business minded people as ourselves. I am now on the Blackberry platform with the new Blackberry Tour, for the first time ever. This comes of little comfort for me since I have been handicapped from all of its features due to the 2nd outage in a week.
Blackberry released a reports stating that they have a team of technician working on the issue, however what caused this issue is still unknown.
CNN reported this fact as well.
While speaking to Cellular Network provider (Sprint) yesterday, it became evident that over 50% of Blackberry users were affected by this outage. I’m sure this will not have a positive effect on the business world being that a lot of businessmen are dependent on this form of communication.
Now, wondering how will this glitch affect the economy?
Did this cause a stock surge?
How many dollars where lost due to this outage?
Does Blackberry owe use some type of customer appreciation rebate?

Kandi's first Tweet & Meet

Photo by: RasheedaGApeach, Antonia Carter, Pree Dammond, Kandi Burruss, and DiamondATL
Kandi's first Tweet and Meet
Kandi's first Tweet and Meet was a success. The room filled with adoring fans, and music patrons all in support of Kandi's first Tweet and Meet event. This event took place in Lawrenceville Georgia at the Dave & Busters near Sugar loaf parkway on December 6th, 2009.
This was the perfect place to host an event that brought thousands of Kandi's supporters . The crowd of people that attended this event where wrapped inside and out the building.
RasheedaGApeach, Antonia Carter, and DiamondATL all came out to support their friend and artist colleague.
Little did they know, another star was in the building.
The room was filled with Song writers and Producers such as Don Vitto, JHiame from Houston, FingerRo, and more.
Be prepared to be amazed, Kandi and companies have a lot more to offer.

The choice not to choose

Pree Dammond by Photography, Samantha J
One should never make decision out of desperation. The result of choices made when in a desperate emotional state are most likely not the same as the choices you would make in a normal collective state of mind.
Typically, choices made from desperation equates to lost opportunities or the lack of growth. Step outside the box, clear your mind, then decide.

Opportunity of a Life Time

When opportunity arise you do have to be ready? This is coming from the receiving end. Have you ever thought about the inverse to this statement. "How about present your opportunity to others, you never know who may want to be a part or contribute to your endeavors". by Pree Dammond

Transformation of Power
The transformation of Power happens on all levels. When it's your time to shine, it will happen unexpectedly to you and others. However, there are always a few individuals with the rare gift to foresee things to come. My advice to all is to be consumed by your passion and enjoy your destiny from beginning to end.
