The Power of Team work.

Quentin Spencer and Jakarius Keover hanging with their Uncle Preezie at the Crib.

The Power of team work

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying two heads are better than one. Why do you think that is true? Here’s my point of view. Working as team helps to split the work load. It allows you to cover more ground (acquire more clients), and helps spread your message quicker.

So how do you form a team? Forming a team can be a challenge. The best way to do so is to network at social gatherings or focus groups that have a common goal in the direction your vision is taking you.

What makes a good team member? Answer: Good people are hard to find period. When you find someone with a good spirit and a healthy work ethic, this is a green flag. A good team member is a person who can listen and follow direction in a quick and timely manner.

Always remember, that your struggles build character and strengthen you in all aspects that required your focus.

Does a Bachelor’s life embody the essences of Tricking

Does a Bachelor’s life embody the essences of Tricking?

I had an interesting discussion with a colleague yesterday. The topic of discussion was centered a round what women want from men. Her phrase was, “Why should I be with a man who can’t buy me things”? My reply to her was “what do men get out of being your Peggy Bank”?

She told me that her man should support her when she is in financial distress, and if he can’t …why is he in her life? I’m still trying to figure out what a man gains from being a woman’s security fund. Most of my female friends would say having sex on the regular is reward enough. But don’t both individuals gain something from sex, and if not why participate in those activities with that person?

Later in the discussion, I realize what some women find important trade offs. Women give men partnership and share the everyday simple task in life that comes with paying bills, housekeeping, and raising a family. Women feel like their time is valuable and is worth paying for. I know a lot of men who share the same belief and I'm one of them.

So what if a man is not ready for partnership? What if he has a maid to keep up with housekeeping? What if he has loving female friends that provide that ear to confide in? What if he manages his finances very well by himself?

What does a young bachelor have to gain from being the support his lady friend desires?

Senate has nationally apologized for slavery

Senate has nationally apologized for Slavery.

Will reparations ever be paid? I found an interesting post on the Washington post that is worth reading. It even highlights that the reason an apology has not been issue previously is due to the fear that this would excite the need for reparations. If it owed then pay it is how I feel about it.

You give nothing but want the world

You give nothing but want the world.

Why do people expect everything but are willing to give nothing? I have a friend that I truly admire but she gives nothing. She believes that her time is equivalent to the value of money. She expects for a man to show his admiration through spending money on her.

She considers this a deposit into what is she calls a mutual friendship.

Why isn’t a man’s time worth the same? Time equates to time. Money equates to money.
With the way things are today, I would hate to think that I’m wasting my time or money on someone who isn’t willing to make the same sacrifice for me.

To conclude: Sew what you expect and you’ll reap what you sew.

The spirit of a champion with the heart of a Go Getter

The spirit of a champion with the heart of a Go Getter.

I didn’t post anything yesterday, because I was so focused on staying in good spirit that I couldn't get to a computer. Yesterday, I was told that I would be getting a separation notice due to layoff cuts that had to be made at my currently day gig. Now, for most people that would have devastated them, but for me…I took it in stride.
On the up and up, this will give me the opportunity I need to push harder, and devote more time to motivating others on how to take life by the horns. My motivation will always be to inspire the less fortunate and prove by my actions that walking the walk is the only way to achieve. The best stories are true stories. So stay tuned with me, as I progress and fly past the moon.

Now, what people have always thought is true. I’m finally self-employed. Hoorayyyeee!

Are you grown and spoiled rotten

Grown and spoiled rotten

How to tell if your friend is spoiled rotten:

1. The a-hole never considers your side of the story. “red flag”
2. When it comes to dating, they expect you to always go Dutch (this is for the ladies).
3. Going out to eat has to be somewhere expensive in order for them to feel you appreciate them. (this is for the men).
4. They pout a lot about nothing when they don’t get their way (all genders included).
5. Their idea of a good time is having you showering them with gifts, and expect to give nothing in return
6. Drama is their friend. “red flag”
7. Peace of mind…is their enemy. “red flag with lava burns”
8. If your friend, always seems needy and they never want to use any of their own money when spending time with you. (Spoiled rotten User and a Loser)
9. Your friend is spoiled if they feel they can have sex whenever they want to regardless if they’re dating or not. (is this a good one)
10. Your friend is spoiled if they feel like getting dirty with chores is beneath them.
11. Your friend is spoiled if they believe beauty conquers all. Meaning, they feel that everything is free as long as you’re good looking. (Funny Funny +7).
12. In short, if you lack humility then you could be spoiled rotten.

Okay, I’ve asked a few friends of mine via text messaging, if they thought I was spoiled. One said yes, one said they didn’t have enough details, a few said no…but the reply comment I like the most is as follows:

“No Preezie, I don’t think you’re spoiled. I just think you have above taste for the finer things in life”.

Thanks, Loren, I love that comment.

The George Jetson era is upon use

The George Jetson era is here

Today, I was conversing with an associate on how fun the Nintendo wii is to play. My friend responded back to me with, “Have you heard about Project natal”. I was like, what! He was like, you should you tube it. So being the person that I am (staying in the know), I had to you tube it. At my amazement, I was blown away by this system. They have finally done it. An interactive gaming system that allows you to play without hand held devices. All you need is the Project natal add-on and your body. Wow! Good bye George Bush era, hello George Jetson era.

I wonder how many years will it take for this type of engineering to affect the way we travel. Could you imagine taking a trip to Paris and is only costing you a few dollars to jump in a Sonic Tube. “Sonic Tube” is my term. You heard it first on

The Power Couple is big business

The Power Couple is big business

In the words of Preezie.

My definition of a Power couple is as follows:

Two individual united under one common goal or interest who pledges a unique devotion to one another dreams and admiration for success. A power couples strives together and is a component that can not be penetrated by foe or friend. This unique couple are un-stoppable in the World and do any and everything they won’t to do as long as communication is never broken between the two.

A power couple is an unstoppable business

A billionaire thinks like this

Nice jewelry makes cheap jewelry look like a waste of money.

I’ve bought jewelry but after seeing this I have a refined eye for quality now.
I’ve learned financial lessons the hard way, but I’ve also made good financial decisions. I recommend reading this book by Robert Kiyosaki called
“Rich Dad Poor Dad”. There is a passage in the book that talks about how poor people waste money on jewelry, cars, and even houses that they can’t afford. It also talks about how the Rich thinks and gives reasons that explain their success. Robert talks about investing and spending your money wisely so we have that in common. There is nothing wrong with buying nice things like expensive jewelry, but are you really getting your moneys worth? If not, why waste money. We have to get to a financial point where buy expensive things are an investment instead of cheap foolery that looks valuable but really isn’t worth the money you’ve spent.

Save money but most importantly, invest, invest, invest….Flip, Turn, and at bear minimum double up. You win some you lose some, but in the middle not the end…you will have a higher chance of being successful, than if you just stored it away like squirrels do nuts.

At least, you’ll learn how to always create money on the fly so no matter what catastrophe arises you’ll be equipped with the tools to jump those hurdles.

Diversity on the Fly

Diversity on the fly and what it means to me.

Diversity is everything. Being diverse will set you apartment from all the clones that live their lives day to day. Yesterday, I took myself to Pf Changs China Bistro for a bit to eat. I order the Shrimp Dumplings which were smashing. While there, I sat next to this white haired old white man who was reading the Money Market place newsletter. I thought to myself why not start a conversation with this future friend.
People just don't sit at the bar to order their food faster.
They sit at the bar to converse with others. We talk about the economy, playing tennis, and how the government got there hands into all of our pockets. We shared what we do for living and how passion for what we do motivates us to keep going. This dude was cool as I don't know what, but of course I was the initiator of the conversation.

In short, I thrive on meeting and establishing friendship with those you would least expect to have any commonalities with me. The old guy was around 70 years old from Europe. All in all, I'm always diverse on the fly from Hood to Roof top "Preezie" keeps it connected.
