Blacks Have Been Hit Hardest By Job Losses A staggering 9 percent of unemployment rate is nearly double the national averageWhile Americans overall are suffering a slight tummy ache from the latest job statistics, Black Americans are doubled over from severe gastric distress. The U.S. Labor Department reports that the national economy slashed some 80,000 jobs during March – the largest reduction in a single month over the past half-decade – and the overall unemployment rate rose from 4.8 percent to 5.1 percent last month. But, Labor figures show, it’s people of color, particularly Black people, who have been socked the hardest. Black unemployment is at a staggering 9 percent, the highest in two months. Latinos saw their unemployment at the highest level in four years – 6.9 percent – in March. With the most recent job drain, the United States has seen 232,000 jobs evaporate over the past three months. The overall 5.1 percent unemployment rate is the highest since September 2005. Who do you blame for the worsening job picture?
This is the time to stick together. It's time to work together. There are strength in numbers. Instead of investing in that home alone, find a business partner or a life partner to go in half with you. Property is always a good way to acquire wealth. Buy low sale a little higher, just do something.
One thing is true, when it comes down to struggling....Blacks are well equipped to handle it. That doesn't make it right, but it's true. There are people out there that do market research and study the behavior of all ethnic races. Wouldn't it piss you off to know that the reason Black have a higher job loss rate is due to some decision maker who has known evidence that a Black person will be able to handle the let down.
