Will Nas be dropped from Def Jam?

Word is-Def Jam may drop NAS from their record label. The controversy is over the title of his lastest album not yet released. The current title is the provacative word, N***ga. It seems NAS is refusing to rename the album despite the fact many retailers are refusing distribution if the title remains. Although NAS albums usually attracts high volume sales, Def Jam could be willing to end their contract.

Recently there has been a strong culturally divide on whether the N-word should be banned. Censorship on this word is a slippery slope once you allow someone to delete words from our vocabulary you begin to blur the lines on freedom of speech. I personally do not care for the use of the word but as an artist I do not want to give power to a group of people that will monitor every word I speak or write.
