"Fly Away" by Pree Dammond

I can't hold you back from your dreams and I won't try.
You say if you stay in Atlanta you will die.
The way you fly in and out of my life makes me want to cry, but im strong so my tear ducts remain dry.
We share the same passion and goals...it seems you were made for me.
When apart we both grow...just hoping together we'll be. I'm a good man and I hope you realize that...without you I'm cold which makes it harder to come back.

So you want to know what I think?
.
Get over it! Geez! Believe me, the girl is not thinking about you and is enjoying the fact that you keep posting and thinking about her.
ReplyDeleteThis poem is a creative peice. There's nothing to read into. I hoped that you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteJust a creative piece.... hmm I don't know Pree. Sounds realistic to me. Either way, its a great piece.
ReplyDeleteSorry Pree, but I have to agree with Susan on this one. I was just reading through some of your editorials and it seems like you keep talking about the same girl. Your pain is evident, so I hope that you are able to move on soon. :o)
